Bingo cafe has an unusual home page which from first impressions, i don't find as inviting or professional as some of the other sites i have visited. It shows only the current promotions and some screen shots of the rest of the site and you have to click "visit site" to access anything else.
After doing this you can access areas such as the FAQ section which covers everything from how to get started to playing games and payment and banking questions. There is a really good how to play page with really clear instructions which new comers would need to read as this site is not as straight forward as some. The chat page has a useful chat lingo section which chat novices might want to read before joining in as all the abbreviations can be a bit daunting.
Registration was easy although a little unusual as it brings up a download box. During registration you can choose male or female character to represent you. Following registration i was pleased to see a £10.00 free sign up bonus in my account and i was ready to try a game.
This is where the site differs from many others as you need to download the software to be able to access the games. After doing this, a page appears featuring my character which moves around the room as i select the games i want to play. I decide to go for a straight forward game of 90 ball bingo and select a room. My character then takes a seat at a table and after purchasing some cards the game begins. The chat box is displayed on a separate screen which is minimised rather than on the game screen which is not a format i am used to or keen on.
I purchased 6 cards at 25p each and was given 6 free. We were playing for 1 line-£1.30, 2 lines, £2.08 and full house £3.47
The pay outs on this site seem really low considering that some sites offer much higher pay outs at cheaper ticket prices, however there is a jackpot of over £800 if you get a full house in less that 42 balls.
Once the game started the format is similar to most other sites with the numbers being called clearly and the cards automatically filled in. I won the 1 line but was hardly jumping for joy with the prize of just £1.30!
I went on to play a few more games and did manage to win another couple of lines but there was no real excitement as full house in under 42 balls seems impossible and the pay outs for the games are so low.
Overall i think this site would be fine for anyone wanting to play for the fun of the game rather than the cash prizes. Experienced players may like the different style of this site as it is nice for a change but new players to online bingo may find it confusing.

Bingo Liner has quite an attractive home page but there is a lot going on. There are promotions as well as various slot and instant win games. Also a winners section and hall of fame. There is a menu down the right of the screen leading to most of the games.This is an extensive list with more games than are offered by many other sites. Having visited several Bingo sited i am used to seeing various games on offer but a new comer to online bingo may be a little daunted by the huge selection on offer here.

This is a similar deal to many other sites and there is also a £10.00 "free" bonus to try with without making a deposit, and a refer a friend option where by they will get 10.00 extra free bonus. Gala bingo is a well known reputable bingo site so i arrive expecting to find a very professional looking home page and an easy to use, well thought out site. I was not disappointed. Although the home page is a little cluttered, the lay out of the site seems very good with easy navigation from the home page.
The home page features the wonderful Sharon Osborn and an offer to join up today and receive £20.00 free play. The home page of the site also features a navigation menu leading to other areas of the site which include promotional offers and a page showing all the games available with a little bit of info on each one.
There are the usual array of bingo games alongside some instant win games such as monopoly and Deal or no deal. There are also some more unusual games with interesting names such as "Golden Balls" and Tunnel of Love! I also found a time table clearly showing the time and prices for the games. The site has a chat area which features info on the mods, chat games and more impressively a chat lingo section which is a real blessing to online bingo newcomer's like myself who would have no idea that GMTA would mean great minds think alike or that someone typing ROFL was in fact rolling around on the floor laughing (in a cyber sort of way i assume!).
So armed with my new chat lingo and info on the games i set about completing the registration and claiming my free £20.00. You need to make a deposit of at least £5.00 to claim your £20.00. I did this and was disappointed not to see my £20.00 appear in my balance. As i arrive at the Virgin Bingo home page i am struck but how easy to use the site seems to be. The home page is bright and attractive. It displays the latest promotions including the current sign up bonus, which is that they will double your first deposit. There is a great navigation menu on the left of the screen leading to very clear getting started instructions and a time table of the games.
There is also a community area where found that they have regular celebrity live chats with people such as big brother's, nasty Nick and Allison Hammund as well as TV presenter favourites Sarah Beany and Gillian Mceath amongst others. This looks like great fun but unfortunately there are currently no celeb chats in the diary. The community section also features info on the winners ( jackpots and reactions) which is a good read and a refer a friend section where i learn that by referring a friend i will receive £5.00 and they will receive and extra £1.00 free bonus.
There are many types of games on offer and also clear instructions on each game. Bingo4her has a very girly, pink home page featuring images of girls having fun and a hunky man with designer stubble. I can see the thinking behind having a home page like this, as most online bingo players are indeed women, however i found it a little off putting. In the name of duty though i plodded on to explore the site which i have to say did not take long as there is not much content.
The current special offer is to register and they will match your first deposit. They will also give 50% back on all future deposits which seem like a good deal if you are a regular player.From the home page you can access the registration and log in pages and get information on the loyalty scheme. This scheme allows you to collect point which can be converted to cash to play with. points can be earned fop many things including registering, playing games and referring friends.
Other than that there is not much to explore so i decided to register and get on with trying the games. Moon bingo drew me to the site with the offer of 1000 free points with registration which apparently convert to £1.00 of free game play. Keen to try out the site for free I headed straight there.
The home page to this site was not a colorful and some how less inviting than some of the other sites I had visited but this did not deter me from registering. Registration was straightforward requiring some personal details as well as payment details. I was a little unsure about whether to proceed but the card details box assured me that "no funds will be taken unless I later decide to deposit funds".
So I continued with the registration and once it was completed was granted 1000 points. It was easy to convert my points to pounds with just one click. So I was then ready with my £1.00 credit to play a game or two. I noticed when exploring the site that there were no clear instruction for people new to online bingo and no clear game instructions. There was a FAQ section but this was mostly info about payment methods and technical issues.
This site seemed to be lacking a community area and also offered no instant win games or scratch cards that I could see. There are several types of 75 ball and 90 ball game bingo on offer and you choose your game depending on how much you want to pay for a ticket (between 5p and £1.00) and also on which chat room you want to go in to. Choices such as young and wild, chatterbox and bingo buddy's were available. At 27 I consider myself one of the "young and wild" bunch so join them in the room for a 10p per ticket game.
It was not easy to work out how to buy cards on this one, (you have to click on the cards you want to buy)But once you have got your card it is easy enough to play. We were playing for a letter I and the card was shaded to show which numbers we needed. The jackpot on this one was £25.00 and there were 24 people in my game. The numbers were read out clearly, if a little fast and the game flew over and was quite enjoyable.
Following this game I tried another 75 ball game for 5p a ticket and a jackpot of £22.00, not bad considering the low ticket price. The chat box was displayed as usual and although I did not join in they seemed friendly enough with many messages of encouragement being passed back and forth.
I did notice that the moderator seemed to frequently post the special offers in to the chat box which I imagine would be annoying if you were trying to chat! I tried several other games on the site including a cloud nine game which was for 1 line, 2 lines and then a full house with a full house jackpot of £19.31.
This was a popular game with 60 players. Unfortunately again I was not a winner. Undeterred by the fact that I had not yet won a game on any of the sites I had tried, I attempted to join another game but then experienced technical problems with the site and was unable to join any of the games.

Wink Bingo has a girly home page which has quite a friendly feel and features information on the games, jackpots and current promotions. From the home page it was easy to access the community area which seems quite good with a chat area, chat games, profile page and information on the chat moderator's who seem like a friendly enough bunch.
The games available here are similar to other sites with both 90 ball and 75 ball bingo on offer along side a range of instant win games such as slots and scratch cards as well as some casino games.
The promotions page is displaying the latest sign up offer, which is to receive £15.00 free to play with. I am now somewhat skeptical of these offers as i have found that on many sites you need to make a deposit to benefit from it, but am pleased to discover that this is not one of those sites. I discovered Gone Bingo through a review site. The add stated that Gone Bingo is a play at home bingo site offering £15.00 free bingo bucks and unusually no deposit is required to register. This add obviously had the desired effect on me and before I knew it I was at the home page looking for the quickest way to register and get my £15.00 free!
I found the home page attractive and brightly coloured but perhaps with a little too much going on. There were special promotions, winners info, and other adds displayed. Thankfully the registration button was easy to find. Registration for the site was very quick and easy to do requiring just a few personal details and taking only a minute. I was both impressed and thrilled to find that my bingo bucks appeared instantly. I was unable to find any information for new comers or clear game play instructions anywhere on the site so as i started my first game i was very unsure about what to do.
However once I had selected a game (75 ball bingo at 5p a ticket)it was fairly easy to buy cards (by moving the curser to the number I wanted to buy). The time left to buy tickets and time until game starts was clearly displayed on the screen. The chat box displayed throughout the game and although I chose only to join in briefly (to wish everyone luck) I enjoyed reading it.
As the game started it became clear that all i really needed to do was watch as the numbers were automatically filled in on my cards as they were called out. Although I did enjoy playing and it was very straightforward once I got in to it I found the whole site somewhat confusing and felt it looked a bit cluttered. It is not immediately clear if you need to make a deposit to benefit from the offer so it is with some anticipation that i fill in the registration form.

Think Bingo has a bright and colourful home page which i found very informative and i was eager to have a look around the site.

Registration for the site is fairly easy although you are required to enter your payment details before you can complete registration which always makes me a little uneasy. There is no "Free play " with registration on this site. You need to make a deposit before you can try playing a game. I always find this a little dissapointing.
As i explore the site further i find a community area which is quite interesting and features true life stories, winners stories and a very useful bingo glossary. Under the help tab there is a FAQ section covering question from payment methods to technical issues. I was unable to find any clear getting started advice or game play instructions so first time players to online bingo may struggle at first although the format of the games seems fairly straight forward and similar to all the other sites i have tried.

When I arrived at the home page to the Littlewoods Bingo site I immediately warmed to it, liking the bright colours and easy navigation menus. The site appears to be quite good for beginners like me with clear "getting started" instructions in the menu. Bingo Tickets start at 10p and there is a timetable on the site showing the game times and special offers such as bye one get one free and half price ticket hours.
As a online bingo novice I was excited to get started and play my first game. Registration for the site was quick and easy and following registration I was given clear instructions on how to start playing.
After registration 10p was showing in my account and I was instructed to validate my email to receive the rest of my bonus. After clicking on the link in the email they had sent, a further 90p was in my account so in total I now had £1.00 to play with. I had been expecting £10.00 as this is the offer displayed on the home page however a closer read of the offer showed that you need to first deposit £10.00 to receive the full bonus.

Dream bingo has a really inviting home page with a large box displaying the latest offer which is £5.00 free credit with registration. The home page also displays some promotions and some info on the type of games on offer.
The community area of the site is also displayed on the home page and includes info on winners, chat hosts and a selection of chat games. I also find a box displaying the casino games which are also offered on the site which include slots, black jack, roulette and poker. First impression of the site are really good and i have warmed to it straight away.
Eager to get my 5.00 and begin playing i fill in the registration form which is really quick and does not request any payment details.Following registration i wait for my £5.00 to appear and when it does not i have go back to read through the small print.
I am informed that the credit will only show after i have selected a room to play in and hit the play now button.
I decide to opt for a 90 ball game at 20p per ticket and hit play now. My credit then shows and i excitedly start my first game. I choose 3 tickets and the game begins with much noise coming from the hosts in the chat box wishing everyone luck. We were playing for 1 line=£2.92, 2 lines=£4.42 and a full house with a jackpot of £18.17. The number were read out clearly if a little fast.
At several points during the game i heard the chat hosts welcoming people and wishing people luck which is amusing at first but i imagine could get a bit annoying if i was playing for a while. Near the end of my first game and i was just waiting for 1 ball.
This is just about as close to winning as i have come to on any site but i am pipped to the post by another player. Next i purchase 6 tickets at 15p each for the next game. This time we were playing for a jackpot of £12.76 which i feel is a little low considering i have played for higher jackpots on other sites with 5p tickets.
