LOOK OF SITE

The website has a young feel to it with a fin colorful heading. It gets you in the mood for a game of bingo!

You need to put in your card details when you register but don't worry, they don't take any money from you unless you decide to deposit funds. You can play with your free 1000 bingo points without depositing any money of your own to test out

EASE OF BUYING TICKETS

It's very easy to register as you need to fill in a simple online form. Then you click a link to redeem your bingo points. It's so easy to get started as there is a big "Play Now" button to click or you can click "deposit funds" if you want to put some of your own money and take advantage of their fab offer of 100% match up bonus.

Once you click to play the game however the buying the bingo cards process is a bit confusing. But once you figure that out you'll be on your way to enjoying a game of bingo online.

GAMES

The first game I tried had a jackpot of £23.18 and there were 36 players. The cards were not set out like a traditional game of bingo as the numbers were not in columns. There was a chat on the right hand side where there were 7 people chatting. The computer tells you how many numbers you are waiting for at the bottom of each card.
When someone wins you hear a shout of BINGO and a round of applause which creates an entertaining atmosphere.

There are different rooms to play in. The second game I had was in the Bingo Buddies Room. The jackpot goes up depending on the number of players and you can see whenthe next game is starting and how much time you have to buy tickets as there is a clock and a count down counter on the screen.

During this second game we were playing for the Letter I. Once the game got started the jackpot stood at £27.44. The numbers come up in pink if they are within the letter I area you are playing for. If they are outside this area they are shown in grey. Once you get used to the numbering system it is easy to play. 3 players won this game and
shared the jackpot prize.

The third game I tried (yes my bingo bonus points went a long way!) was in the Young and Wild Room. It was only 5p a ticket for this game. I bought 6 tickets to use up the rest of my free bingo money. This time we were playing for the number 1 shape. Again the jackpot increased in line with the number of online bingo players. You get a
warning to purchase more cards before the next game starts.

Other games were held in the Cloud Nine room where tickets were only 5p. The jackpot was £29.84 and there were 47 players. In this room cards were set out in traditional bingo style and you play for one line then two lines, followed by a full house. But there was a very strange and untraditional calling of the numbers system. Things
like Stuck in the Tree 53, Christmas cake 38, Time for fun 41, Buckle my shoe 32 etc!

Personally I prefer to play for lines and full houses as opposed to shapes so I guess I must be a traditional bingo girl at heart. So this game in the Cloud Nine room would be my preferred choice.

PRIZES

Jackpots really vary from game to game and the number of the players, but on an average game you can expect to win about £25-£30 for a full house. There are other one off bigger games from time to time where the you can win big!
They have a special promotions section where you can view all the latest big prizes you can win. These include not only money but things like a 42 inch flat screen TV. At the end of each month 3 lucky players will have their utility bills paid for them!

COST TO PLAY

Cards cost from as little as 5p which is really good value.

ONLINE BINGO CHAT

You can chat to other players in what is called the leisure lounge on moon bingo. There were about 7-9 people chatting during the games I played. There was a good sense of community on this site.

USER REVIEW

Moon bingo drew me to the site with the offer of 1000 free points with registration which apparently convert to £1.00 of free game play. Keen to try out the site for free I headed straight there.

The home page to this site was not a colorful and some how less inviting than some of the other sites I had visited but this did not deter me from registering. Registration was straightforward requiring some personal details as well as payment details. I was a little unsure about whether to proceed but the card details box assured me that "no funds will be taken unless I later decide to deposit funds".

So I continued with the registration and once it was completed was granted 1000 points. It was easy to convert my points to pounds with just one click. So I was then ready with my £1.00 credit to play a game or two. I noticed when exploring the site that there were no clear instruction for people new to online bingo and no clear game instructions. There was a FAQ section but this was mostly info about payment methods and technical issues.

This site seemed to be lacking a community area and also offered no instant win games or scratch cards that I could see. There are several types of 75 ball and 90 ball game bingo on offer and you choose your game depending on how much you want to pay for a ticket (between 5p and £1.00) and also on which chat room you want to go in to. Choices such as young and wild, chatterbox and bingo buddy's were available. At 27 I consider myself one of the "young and wild" bunch so join them in the room for a 10p per ticket game.

It was not easy to work out how to buy cards on this one, (you have to click on the cards you want to buy)But once you have got your card it is easy enough to play. We were playing for a letter I and the card was shaded to show which numbers we needed. The jackpot on this one was £25.00 and there were 24 people in my game. The numbers were read out clearly, if a little fast and the game flew over and was quite enjoyable.

Following this game I tried another 75 ball game for 5p a ticket and a jackpot of £22.00, not bad considering the low ticket price. The chat box was displayed as usual and although I did not join in they seemed friendly enough with many messages of encouragement being passed back and forth.

I did notice that the moderator seemed to frequently post the special offers in to the chat box which I imagine would be annoying if you were trying to chat! I tried several other games on the site including a cloud nine game which was for 1 line, 2 lines and then a full house with a full house jackpot of £19.31.

This was a popular game with 60 players. Unfortunately again I was not a winner. Undeterred by the fact that I had not yet won a game on any of the sites I had tried, I attempted to join another game but then experienced technical problems with the site and was unable to join any of the games.

Overall although I quite enjoyed the game I played I did not warm to this site in the way I had to some others and will probably not choose to visit again if I was using real money!
